Foot Pain What is my foot pain? There are quite a number of foot pains, complete diagnosis and the correct treatment are of utmost importance, so the condition does not develop into something more severe. Plantar Fasciitis Plantar Fasciitis is pain on the bottom of the foot, usually towards the heel. If you get out of bed in the morning and have heel pain, plantar fascitis is the most likely the culprit. Pain is also sometimes in the front or middle part of the bottom of the foot. If you do a lot of walking, running or standing on hard surfaces you are more likely to get feet pain. If you have flat feet or extremely high arches the percentage of acquiring foot pain becomes higher. Pain is usually increased when one stands or walks after resting, or after exercising. When plantar fasciitis goes untreated it may become chronic foot pain. It may also affect you to develop knee, hip, and or low back pain due to the "getty up" you will have when walking.
